The Lombardini LDW 1404/P engine is a four-cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engine specifically designed for the Piaggio Porter commercial vehicle, operating at 4500 rpm.

This version is a customized variant of the FOCS Lombardini LDW 1404 standard model, calibrated specifically for the Piaggio Porter.

Although it may appear similar to the standard version, the 1404/P is an engine built for the automotive sector, featuring significant customizations in its key components, such as the oil pan, cylinder head, crankshaft, and connecting rods. Compared to its standard counterpart, this version delivers higher power output, increased torque, and a higher rotational speed.

This is a rotation engine with an exchange program, meaning it is fully reconditioned by replacing all worn-out components. Only original Kohler Lombardini spare parts are used for this type of intervention. To guarantee quality and performance, each engine undergoes bench testing before delivery.
